Introduction

In an important stride towards advancing industry standards, the “General-Purpose Biaxially Stretched Polypropylene Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tape,” a standard drafted by Wingtai (Zhongshan) Co., Ltd., is set to be officially implemented from April 1st. As per the announcement of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, Industry Standard HG/T 6102-2022, also known as “General-Purpose Biaxially Stretched Polypropylene Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tape,” was formally released on September 30, 2022. The standard’s enforcement is scheduled to commence on April 1, 2023, under the purview of the National Adhesive Standardization Technical Committee. Additionally, our company participated in the drafting of the national standard GB/T 41657-2022, “Determination of Puncture Resistance of Adhesive Tapes,” which has been in effect since February 1st this year.
